A New Chapter

A new chapter awaits! The time has come to write a new chapter in my life. As it is pending, I thought it's good to take time and think for awhile. Heck, I think of it all the while! People say you should never look back and only look forward. I can't fully agree with it. There are times when you need to look back. Look back for strength, for inspiration, for memories.

For a lot of us, the next chapter that I am stepping into is a life defining one. It's the time you earn your living, have a family and find your career. Pretty much how your life will be looked at depends on this chapter. As it's the future, it's the unknown. As much as we can plan for it, God decides. Hopefully for me, it starts on the right note and ends well. Hopefully it ends when I reach the age of 40. Hopefully by then, I will be able to leave my legacy behind. I want to start a new chapter then. I want to BE ABLE to start a new chapter then. What the hell. I haven't start the next chapter and already dream of the following chapter.

Looking back at my life, I don't want to rewrite a chapter. I want to rewrite the whole book. If can, I want to scrap the whole book and write a different story. "My way" definitely is not my song. When I look back, I have too many things to regret and to many to change. There are so many improvements I can make to become a better person. Of course, there are some things too which I would love to keep even if I can rewrite my book. I would remember the lessons I learned in life, the people who came across my life and left a mark, and I would definitely still support Liverpool Football Club. These are things I won't trade for anything.

To start the new chapter, maybe I should start to be more vulnerable. I think I have protected myself too much at too many times. Maybe starting to be vulnerable in this blog could be a start. We will see if I do expose my self more. It's time to start a new page with a new title for a new chapter. Cheers!
